A Garden Muse Epiphany

Summer Art Challenge Days 32-33 — making art every day!

The muses have been very busy the last couple of days, as have I. Yesterday Iris came out in the garden with me; since I don’t seem to have a garden muse, she decided to try out for the position. This is a sneak peek first panel from the comic I’ve been working on for the last couple of days — I penciled the whole thing yesterday, and had just enough energy to start the inking tonight. It will probably take me a couple more days to finish this one, as I am working in between a whole lot of music commitments.

It was a windy day out in the yard yesterday; I had to keep putting big pots on the plastic sheeting I was using to sift old dirt (from other pots) on. I was rearranging quite a lot of stuff in the garden, and envisioning some new projects, gauging the amount of work it was going to take VS how much I really wanted the results! Iris seems to have caught my mood.

In other news, I got the second proof of the “Spam and the Sasquatch” graphic novel today, and gave the printers the OK to go ahead! I’m so excited!

I'd love to know — what do you think about this?
