Look out, it’s Ma Raccoon!

Summer Drawing Challenge Day 18

Not long ago I did a little doodle for another one of my animal-in costume characters, Ma Raccoon. I figured it was about time I turned her into a proper character study. She has just been interrupted in the middle of her pie-making (it’s berry season, after all!) and is not so sure she likes the interrupter. But she’s willing to listen, and if what she hears pleases her, her visitor might, I say might, get invited in for some pie and a cup of tea.

Ma Raccoon, Pitt brush pens and Prismacolor markers (yes, I've been listening to Iris. If she's lucky, maybe her next story will be in colour!)

I'd love to know — what do you think about this?
