From Yukon to Beach

Whoosh! I’m here and gone again – back from a fantastic convention in Whitehorse, Yukon, which I will tell you more about when I get back from a much-needed vacation. When I get back from the beach I’m going to have a lot of stories to tell, and drawings to post, because I’m still drawing every day!

But time is short, and I need to sleep, so I’m going to leave you all with a few pictures — see you in a couple of weeks!

I took a lot of photos from the air on the way to Whitehorse, This is a glacier — it was huge!

Here's my table at the convention in Artists' Alley. Three books, the entire portfolio of the original Spam paintings, and a couple of portfolios full of prints!

I did a large, two minute drawing in a workshop that was mostly attended by kids and teens. I asked them to shout out an animal. I drew the head. Then I asked them for a time period, and drew the costume. A new hero emerges — Medieval Moose! He'll get made into one of my more developed sketches when I return — I like him already.

Today we took a little time on the way to the airport to do some touristing. This is me and a fibreglass mastodon.
