I’ve been working on a poster for the artist-run centre I belong to, Xchanges Artists’ Gallery and Studios. and as part of it I made this box of chocolates with symbols of many of the media in which our artists work. I drew a pen and ink drawing, and was going to watercolour it, because I had a vision of a sort of light, airy kind of poster. But I decided to try a colour mock-up in Photoshop first, and then… it kind of just grew into this. I had a great deal of fun making it, and trying out some new stuff (I always try to do at least one new thing every time I do digital art, to stretch my creative muscles).

And yes, it really, really made me want a box of assorted chocolates!
