Catching up on the Drawing-a-Day thing

It’s been a crazy-busy couple of days, and as I mentioned yesterday, I was away from the internet and didn’t have an opportunity to post yesterday’s sketch. So here it is, along with today’s!

Mike playing guitar — Last night my band went to a concert up in Nanaimo, about a two hour drive from Victoria. Our friends, who are in a band called "Bob", were playing at the local folk club. We played a few songs on the open stage, then I settled in to sketch my friends. However, I was seated at the very side, and the only member of Bob that I could see well enough to sketch was Mike. It's a real challenge to sketch people who are moving around, and while there are some kind of strange things about this drawing, Mike liked it and gave me permission to post it!

Dragon and Lady — there is a discussion of some sort going on here, but I couldn't come up with anything to go in a speech balloon, so I'll leave it to your imagination!
