As I mentioned yesterday, I’m off to the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, to meet other artists, publishers, and fans. Take a look at the link — there is a lot of cool stuff going on! I’m not sure how many posts I’ll be able to make from there; it’s completely unknown territory for me! But I’ll try to make at least one or two, with my observations of the event, some personal notes, and hopefully some photos. And I’m sure I’ll have lots to say when I get back, all inspired and ready to do more art.

Good spotting, Pia! I use them for models, sometimes. How neat to have models of your own horses! I used to have a collection of horse models when I was a kid and wish I still had them.

That’s how I felt when I went to the Plein Air Convention. I drove 12 hours to get there, after working three 12 hour shifts in a row and I was POOPED! I didn’t get unpooped until I got back home a week later. It was worth it, though. Going again next year, albeit, I will make sure I’m rested BEFORE I go. 🙂

Yep, when you’re there, you’ve got to participate tired or not! I’d love to go to that sometime; I was on their list for a while but unsubscribed because it just made me too wistful (and they posted so often!)…
